Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Supply Chain Director to lead end-to-end supply chain operations for our electromechanical products business in the dynamic Pearl River Delta region. As a key leader in our global organization, you will drive operational excellence, optimize cross-functional collaboration, and ensure sustainable growth in one of the world’s most competitive manufacturing hubs. This role demands a blend of strategic vision, tactical execution, and people leadership to manage a large team and complex regional supply chain networks.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute regional supply chain strategies aligned with global objectives, focusing on cost optimization, efficiency gains, and risk mitigation.
  • Lead demand forecasting, inventory management, and logistics planning to support business growth in the PRD and export markets.
  1. Team & Operations Management
  • Oversee a team of 80+ professionals across procurement, logistics, warehousing, and supplier management.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through talent development, coaching, and performance management.
  1. Supply Chain Optimization
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance process efficiency and reduce lead times.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with key suppliers and third-party logistics partners.
  1. Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure adherence to global trade regulations, ESG standards, and quality control frameworks.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain disruptions (e.g., geopolitical risks, material shortages).
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with sales, engineering, and finance teams to align supply chain capabilities with market demands.
  • Act as a liaison between regional stakeholders and global headquarters.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management within multinational corporations, preferably in electromechanical/manufacturing industries.
  • Proven track record of leading large teams (50+ members) and driving organizational change.
  • Skills:
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and expertise in ERP/SCM systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Fluent in English (business proficiency in Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus).
  • Leadership:
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and retain top talent in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Experience managing matrixed teams and remote stakeholders.
