Job Description

Job Title: SQE Engineer

Job location: Qishi Town, Dongguan city, Guangdong province

Reporting to SQE Head

Job Tasks

1. Actively participate in the supplier selection process, assess suppliers’ designing, manufacturing and inspection capability.

2. Enable and audit supplier in new product and mass production to ensure technical and quality requirements.

3. Initiate, support and monitor the quality assurance tools and measurements at suppliers’ sites.

4. Analyse and follow up suppliers’ quality issue, to develop improvement and preventive actions and monitor the implementation.

5. Drive supplier to improve quality capability continuously.

6. Guide supplier on incoming material quality control improvement

7. Give inputs to commodity strategy & implement Global commodity strategy

Job Qualification:

1. Bachelor’s degree or above, majored in electronics related is preferred (Not a must).
2. 3+ years quality management experience in home appliance preferred, working experience with multinational companies is preferred.
3. Familiar with the communication and negotiation skills with external supplier quality management.
4. Familiar processing of cables, PCBA, MCU, battery pack, etc.
5. Good command of English
6. Qualified ISO9001 auditor, qualified VDA6.3 auditor is preferred.
7. Good interpersonal communication skills, positive listening, data driving and result orientation under timeline.
8. Willing to take challenge, would work under multi-tasks in parallel and could work under certain pressure.
