Company Profile:

With a strong global presence and a reputation for excellence, we are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Head to lead our business expansion and customer relationship management efforts in China.

Position Title: Sales Head

Location: Shanghai, China

Reporting To: CEO, China Region

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to expand the company’s market share in China, focusing on identifying new business opportunities and penetrating key accounts within the medical industry.
  • Customer Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty through effective communication, personalized service, and consistent follow-up.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team, setting clear objectives, providing training, and coaching to enhance team capabilities and drive results.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, informing strategic decisions and product positioning.
  • Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, providing insights into sales performance and areas for improvement.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring win-win agreements are reached, and manage the contract lifecycle from inception to renewal.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and local laws.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the medical industry, with a proven track record of successful business development and customer management.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with international teams and clients.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, driving performance and achieving targets.
  • Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Chinese medical device market, including key players, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven negotiation abilities, capable of closing deals under competitive conditions.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to interpret market data, identify trends, and formulate strategic plans.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Work Environment:
Based in Shanghai, the Sales Head will work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, characterized by innovation and a commitment to excellence. The role requires frequent travel within China and occasional international travel for meetings and industry events.
