Title: Plant Director
Report to: CEO (From Europe)
Subordinates: EHS, Quality, Supply Chain, manufacturing, maintenance, lean etc, including more than 1000 workers
– Lead daily operations of the EMS factory, including production, quality, supply chain, and maintenance.
– Drive the Industry 4.5 transformation, implementing AI, MES, PIM/MDM/DAM integration, and predictive analytics.
– Develop and manage KPIs aligned with hyper-personalized production, efficiency, and sustainability goals.
– Ensure seamless integration of digital tools (IoT sensors, AI-driven APS, ERP, MES, CAM, ESB) for end-to-end visibility.
– Empower, coach, and upskill factory teams to embrace data-driven decision-making and collaborative automation.
– Oversee compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
– Collaborate with R&D, supply chain, and IT to accelerate product-to-market speed.
– Implement lean, agile, and continuous improvement processes across all factory functions.
– Monitor and manage budgets, CAPEX, and resource allocation for digital transformation initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Electronics, or related field.
– 8+ years’experience in factory operations; experience with EMS or electronics manufacturing preferred.
– Proven experience in Industry 4.0/4.5 transformation projects, digital manufacturing, or smart factory implementations.
– Strong knowledge of MES, ERP, PIM/MDM/DAM, APS, and AI-enabled manufacturing systems.
– Familiarity with IoT, robotics, digital twins, predictive maintenance, and hyper-personalization in production.
– Leadership skills: ability to motivate, coach, and manage cross-functional teams.
– Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
– Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Preferred Skills:
– Exposure to human-centric UX/UI in manufacturing tools.
– Experience with Camunda 8 or other workflow/process orchestration engines.
– Knowledge of D365 ERP integrations with manufacturing, supply chain, and AI analytics.
– Familiarity with sustainability initiatives, circular manufacturing, and ESG compliance.
