Job Description: Key Account Manager

Key Responsibilities

  1. Client Relationship Management
  • Develop and maintain long-term, strategic partnerships with key accounts in Mainland China and Taiwan, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and aligning client objectives with company offerings.
  1. Demand Identification & Opportunity Development
  • Proactively identify client needs, industry trends, and emerging business opportunities through regular engagement, site visits, and market analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, engineering, R&D) to develop tailored solutions that address client pain points and drive revenue growth.
  1. Technical Support & Industry Insights
  • Provide in-depth technical guidance to clients, including equipment specifications, application consulting, and troubleshooting.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and equipment innovations, sharing insights with clients to position our company as a thought leader and trusted advisor.
  1. Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Monitor account health metrics (e.g., revenue, retention rate, NPS) and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Develop and execute account-specific growth plans, ensuring alignment with regional and global targets.

Requirements

  1. Industry Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience managing key accounts in the industrial equipment, manufacturing technology, or related sectors.
  • Proven track record of expanding client portfolios, increasing revenue, and fostering C-suite relationships.
  1. Market Knowledge
  • Deep understanding of the Greater China market dynamics, including cultural nuances, regulatory frameworks, and competitive landscapes in Mainland China and Taiwan.
  1. Communication & Interpersonal Skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin (fluent proficiency in Taiwanese/Hokkien is a plus).
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  1. Technical Aptitude
  • Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into client-friendly solutions.
  • Experience with industrial automation, machinery, or equipment-related fields is preferred.
  1. Additional Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within Greater China.
