Job Description:
As a Project Coordinator within our electrical products division of data center, you will play a crucial role in managing all project-related activities from inception to completion. You will be the central point of contact, coordinating efforts both internally with various departments and externally with suppliers to ensure project success. Your ability to navigate time zones and maintain effective communication will be instrumental in driving our projects forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget, scope, and quality standards.
- Supplier Management: Liaise with suppliers to negotiate terms, monitor performance, and resolve any issues that may arise, ensuring timely delivery of materials and components.
- Internal Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Logistics, and our US-based teams to ensure seamless integration of project activities.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication, both internally and externally, maintaining clear, concise, and timely updates.
- Scheduling and Tracking: Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking progress, and identifying potential delays or bottlenecks early on.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring contingency plans are in place to address unforeseen challenges.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and other required documentation.
- Travel and Evening Calls: Be prepared to travel as needed and to participate in regular evening calls with the US-based team due to time zone differences.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred. Candidates with study experience in the USA or Europe will be given priority consideration.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in project coordination, project management, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, such as PMBOK, Agile, or Scrum is beneficial.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, especially in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, to accommodate time zone differences and meet project deadlines.
- Travel: Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required for project meetings and supplier visits.
