Title: Mechanical Engineer
Report to: Technical Manager

• Mechanical and plumbing systems design, from schematic to construction drawings.
• Familiar with mechanical and plumbing construction craftmanship, capability to create, define, and improve craftmanship procedure and standard.
• Familiar with mechanical calculation and analysis for systems, including but not limited to the process to define the size of the pump, piping, blowers, shaft, aircon etc.
• Familiar with system testing and trials requirements, capable to create and define the testing/trial standard and procedure.
• Experiences in providing troubleshooting solutions for machinery and engineering system faults.
• Knowledge in system BOM, costing and estimate based on bidding requirement or project specification.
• Familiar with mechanical and plumbing equipment and materials, with certain network for manufacturer and contractors
• Experiences in Class & Flag regulations, resolve all engineering conflicts related to Class & Flag.
• Production support during construction stages
• Work with project management & external design contractors as required.

Essential Requirements:
• 5+ years qualified and proven shipyard design and engineering experiences
• Mechanical Engineering Degree
• Classification Society & Flag Authority experience.
• 2D & 3D design programs experience.
• Fluent in written, reading, listening English, acceptable verbal English

Desirable Skills:
• Yacht, ship or vessel design and construction experience
• Design coordination experience.
• Aluminum vessel design and construction experience.
• Experience in high quality design materials and installations technics
