Job Title: Validation Manager

Job location: Dongguan City，Shipai Town
Job Responsibilities：

1. Lead the Dimension Validation team in conducting dimensional analysis and tooling verification, identifying potential issues through statistical and physical analysis, and providing risk assessments and recommendations for mass production.

2. Lead the Plastic Process Validation team in optimizing injection molding process parameters for new molds prior to production release to ensure process stability.

3. Review Dimension Inspection Reports (DIR) to ensure data accuracy and that measurements accurately represent the physical samples.

4. Scrutinize and refine measurement procedures and workflows to establish a standardized and systematic approach, ensuring data integrity and traceability.

5. Enhance and improve current measurement capabilities and technologies to ensure the delivery of precise and reliable measurement reports.

6. Perform validation testing with the development team based on Upper Limit/Lower Limit (UL/LL) methods to confirm critical dimensions of matching parts and verify the practical application of Dimension Analysis reports.

7. Support the production engineering team in identifying and resolving problematic dimensions to reduce rejection rates and improve yield.

8. Provide dimensional solutions and approaches for complex mechanical joints or connection structures based on physical modeling and statistical analysis.

9. Develop and drive the overall validation process and master plan to ensure quality is built into products during the development phase.

10. Implement and promote the “Quality by Design” (QbD) concept within the R&D team through practical training and awareness programs.

11. Lead and drive the application of Design of Experiment (DOE) methodologies for process optimization to establish stable and controlled processes.

12. Guide and assist the Production Validation team in optimizing injection processes, defining optimal parameter settings for each new mold to achieve stable process control.

13. Train and coach the Dimension Validation team to build core competencies in measurement skills, techniques, and methods, enhancing support and service to the development team.

Job Requirements

Academic Background

• Master of Science or Bachelor of Applied Science

Related Experience

• More than 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Process Engineering

• More than 3 years of experience in process control within Plastic and/or Metal manufacturing

• Proven experience in Statistical Analysis

• Experience in Equipment and Maintenance

• Background in Physical / Failure Analysis

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in Failure Analysis (FA) techniques and methodologies

• Strong capability in Process/Production engineering and analysis using Design of Experiment (DOE) for problem-solving

• Competence in applying DFMEA and PFMEA for problem prevention and risk mitigation

• Understanding and application of the Quality by Design (QbD) concept and approach

• Solid knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) for quality management

• In-depth technical knowledge of measuring equipment, techniques, methods, and their respective limitations

• Strong analytical and systematic thinking skills

• Comprehensive understanding of validation processes and approaches

English Skill

• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, capable of using it as a working language.
