Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior R&D Engineer – Thermal to join our dynamic research and development department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing thermal exchange systems for our HVAC and cooling system components. Your expertise will ensure that our products meet and exceed customer expectations, delivering 100% satisfaction through innovative and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development: Lead the design and development of thermal exchange systems, focusing on enhancing performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

2. Optimization: Continuously optimize existing thermal components and systems to improve efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and extend product lifespan.

3. Customer Focus: Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to understand and fulfill customer requirements, ensuring 100% satisfaction.

4. Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative R&D environment.

5. Project Management: Manage projects from conception to completion, including resource allocation, timeline management, and risk assessment.

6. Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulations, incorporating the latest advancements into product designs.

7. Validation and Testing: Conduct rigorous testing and validation to ensure all thermal systems meet or exceed industry standards and customer specifications.

8. Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field.

2. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in R&D, with a proven track record in thermal system design and optimization for HVAC and cooling systems.

3. Technical Skills: Expertise in thermal dynamics, heat transfer, CFD analysis, and material science.

4. Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

5. Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

6. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

7. Language: Fluent in English; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
