Job Description:

The BD Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the cosmetics packaging industry. With a focus on building long-term relationships and expanding our client base, this individual will be responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle, from initial outreach to contract negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. New Client Development: Actively seek out and engage with potential clients within the cosmetics industry, presenting our packaging solutions and demonstrating how they can meet their unique needs.
  2. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competition, and new business opportunities.
  3. Business Proposals: Develop compelling business proposals and presentations tailored to each client’s requirements.
  4. Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached. Draft and finalize contracts as necessary.
  5. Relationship Management: Maintain excellent communication with clients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the sales process and beyond.
  6. Sales Target Achievement: Set and achieve sales targets, consistently tracking progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with the product development, design, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of client requirements into our packaging solutions.
  8. Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry developments, competitors, and emerging trends to inform sales strategies and product innovation.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the cosmetics packaging, sales, or business development industry.
  2. Proven track record of successfully developing and closing new business opportunities.
  3. Strong networking skills and the ability to build long-term relationships with clients.
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
  5. A deep understanding of the cosmetics industry, including trends, key players, and market dynamics.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  7. Fluent in English, with proficiency in Mandarin or other relevant regional languages being a plus.
  8. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
