Role Overview:
As the Product Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch, of our powertrain and chassis components. You will lead a team of product managers and engineers to ensure the successful development and market introduction of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define and execute product strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives.
2. Manage the product lifecycle, including market research, product planning, development, testing, and launch.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, sales, and marketing to ensure smooth product development and market acceptance.
4. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new product opportunities and potential risks.
5. Oversee product pricing strategies and ensure profitability targets are met.
6. Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and OEMs to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
7. Lead and develop a team of product managers and engineers to achieve product development goals.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, with at least 5 years in product management or related roles.
3. Proven ability to lead and manage a team of product professionals.
4. Strong understanding of automotive component design, manufacturing, and testing processes.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
6. Familiarity with market research tools and techniques to identify product opportunities and risks.
7. Ability to work independently and under pressure, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
8. Good command of English, both written and spoken.
