Job Title:
DSP Algorithms / DSP Platform Lead Role Mission

Own and lead the core audio DSP technology platform across all MI categories.

This role defines audio quality standards, DSP architecture, and algorithm roadmap, ensuring reusable, scalable DSP solutions for global products.

Key Responsibilities:
Technology & Architecture

·        Define the DSP platform architecture covering:

o    Guitar / Bass Effects & Amp Modeling

·        Own core DSP domains:

o    Dynamics, EQ, FX, amp/speaker modeling

o    Audio routing, mixing, and signal chains

·        Establish audio quality benchmarks and tuning standards Leadership & Team Building
·        Build and lead the DSP algorithm team

·        Set technical direction, code standards, and review mechanisms

·        Mentor senior and junior DSP engineers

Cross-Functional  Collaboration
·        Work closely with:

o    Embedded Lead on real-time integration

o    Hardware teams on DSP platform selection

o    Product Management on feature feasibility and trade-offs

·        Support key product milestones and critical audio decisions

Platform & Reuse
·        Drive DSP module reuse across product lines

·        Balance audio excellence vs. cost/performance at scale

·        Support long-term evolution toward software-defined / platform DSP Qualifications

·        College above in Signal Processing, EE, or related fields

·        8–12+ years in audio DSP development

·        Proven experience in leading DSP teams or platforms

·        Deep expertise in:

o    Real-time DSP implementation (C/C++)

o    Fixed & floating-point optimization

o    Pro audio / MI signal chains

·        Experience with SHARC / ARM / NXP / TI DSP platforms

Strong Plus
·        Amp modeling, physical modeling, synthesis engines

·        Experience shipping high-volume global MI products

·        Experience defining company-wide DSP standards
