Role Overview:
We are seeking a Control Software Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in industrial software development to join our team in Guangzhou, China. As a Control Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing control software and applications for our HVAC products. You will also be involved in improving existing software, participating in the development of software required for the next generation of IoT, and monitoring and diagnosing software issues.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Software Development: Design, develop, and test control software and applications for HVAC products, ensuring they meet functional, performance, and reliability requirements.
2. Improvement and Maintenance: Continuously improve and maintain existing software, incorporating new features and addressing bugs and performance issues.
3. IoT Integration: Participate in the development of software required for the next generation of IoT, ensuring seamless integration with our HVAC products.
4. Monitoring and Diagnosis: Monitor software performance and diagnose issues, working closely with the technical support and field service teams to resolve problems quickly and effectively.
5. Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including software design documents, user manuals, and test plans.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, mechanical engineers, and product managers, to ensure successful product development.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial software development, preferably in the HVAC industry.
3. Technical Skills: Proficient in C#, C++, and .NET.
4. Preferred experience with PLC, HMI applications, and familiarity with PID algorithms.
5. System Knowledge: Strong understanding of Building Automation Systems (BAS), BACnet, Modbus, and other relevant protocols and standards.
6. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues effectively.
7. Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
8. Language: Fluent in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with international teams and clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems.
2. Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and IoT technologies.
3. Knowledge of HVAC system design and operation.
