Job Description:
As the SQE Leader, you will be the pivotal figure in shaping and executing our quality control strategies, ensuring that our products meet and exceed customer expectations. You will lead a team of QA (Quality Assurance) and QC (Quality Control) professionals, driving towards the ambitious goal of achieving zero-defect products and fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and Implement Quality Control Programs: Design and implement comprehensive quality assurance and control procedures tailored to our product lines, ensuring compliance with international standards and customer specifications.
2. Manage QA and QC Teams: Oversee a team of QA and QC professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to enhance their skills and efficiency.
3. Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to continuously improve product quality, reduce defects, and enhance process efficiency through lean Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and other quality improvement methodologies.
4. Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all products and processes adhere to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
5. Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
6. Analyze Data and Report Findings: Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data to identify trends, assess product performance, and recommend improvements.
7. Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality excellence, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning within the team.
8. Collaborate with USA-based teams, providing timely feedback and addressing any quality problems or issues regarding customer support
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred. Candidates with study experience in the USA or Europe will be given priority consideration.
2. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a related field. Proven leadership experience in managing a team is essential.
3. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001), statistical process control (SPC), and quality improvement tools (e.g., FMEA, PPAP, 8D, Six Sigma).
4. Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a strong capability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex quality issues.
6. Language: Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
