Job Title:  China Sales Director- Medical sector

Report to: Global Sales VP-based at HQ

Location: Shanghai or home base


Job Duties

  1. Follow company China strategy to create and update yearly strategy and objectives of Sales and Marketing function;
  2. Develops sales management capabilities, and build a cohesive and high-performance team;
  3. Develop new business opportunities in targeted industry sectors ;
  4. Create relevant policies and budget plan to support the sales target (incentive policy, bidding procedure etc.);
  5. Establish & enhance customer intimacy with decision makers of potential customers, analyze and understand customer strategies, future product plans and growth activities in order to establish penetration strategies for new market opportunities.
  6. Maintain customer relationships, make convincing proposals and negotiate contracts;
  7. Provides sound leadership, management, coaching and training to sales and marketing team.
  8. Present sales target & progress, as well as the deployment of sales strategy to the management
  9. Team management and people development

Key Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree is mandatory, Master’s degree is preferred;
  2. Minimum 10 years sales & marketing experience in life science or medical related sector industry with at least 3-4 years at sales management position; experience in China or Asian is preferred;
  3. A business-driven person with strong business and commercial sense, as well as proven track record of profitable business growth;
  4. Strong leadership to drive and inspire performance of sales teams;
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customer-oriented and commercial mindset;
  6. Excellent command of English and Mandarin; Mastering a third language is a good plus.
  7. Frequent business travel is required.
