The employer is a global leading company from Europe with component products for automotive and industrial application, with a successful history of about 80 years, they have been in China for more than 30 years, and with a long-term commitment for China market, they have built up  manufacturing center, R&D center in the north, sales & Marketing center with more than 500 staff, now to speed up the business, they are now looking for high calibers to join with the sales team, the details as the following

 

Title: China Key Account Manager-BYD and other OEMs-South China

Report to: China Sales Head-Automotive Division

Working Location: Shenzhen or other Cities of Guangdong Province, home-based

 

General Requirements:

Responsible for strategic cooperation and business growth of local OEM (COEM) in South China, achieving sales targets and deepening long-term cooperative relationships through technology sales and key customer management strategies. It is necessary to combine technical solution capabilities with business acumen to drive COEM customers’ innovative needs in the field of new energy vehicles, and manage end-to-end sales processes (including RFQ response, contract negotiation, project delivery, etc.).

Essential Functions:

  1. Strategic Customer Management
  • Develop and implement COEM customer specific strategies, including long-term growth goals, annual budgets, and market penetration plans.
  • Coordinate the group and local teams to provide customized technical solutions and promote the implementation of new projects for COEM clients.
  1. Technical sales and business expansion
  • Identify the technical needs of COEM customers, promote the company’s 360 ° connectivity solutions, and lead technology demonstrations and solution design.
  • Manage the entire customer project lifecycle, including requirement analysis, quotation negotiation, delivery support, and after-sales service.
  1. Market and Competition Analysis
  • Systematically analyze our company’s existing supply share among COEM customers and quantify the potential for remaining market share..
  • Identify the main competitors and their strategies, develop targeted plans to enhance our market share.
  1. Business Operations
  • Lead the negotiation of contract terms (price, payment, delivery, etc.), optimize profit margins, and conduct regular commercial reviews.
  • Monitor industry trends and explore potential collaboration opportunities for COEM customers in the connectivity field.
  1. Cross departmental collaboration
  • Collaborate with the group and local R&D, quality, and production teams to quickly respond to customer technical change requirements and handle complaints.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Knowledges, Skills, Abilities
  • Proficient in technical solution selling, with a background in mechanical or electronic engineering knowledge.
  • Outstanding market analysis ability, able to systematically evaluate COEM customer supply share and remaining market potential, and accurately identify competitor strategies.
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication skills, able to efficiently connect with COEM clients’ global and regional teams.
  • Proficient in using Salesforce system and data analysis tools, with project management experience.
  • Fluent in English, can be used as a working language.
  1. Education/Experience
  • More than 5 years of experience in Key Account Management (KAM), with over 3 years of technical sales background in the automotive industry (OEMs/Ter1), familiar with the new energy vehicle industry chain.
  • Successfully led the commercial implementation of complex technology projects such as battery systems, electric drive components, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related fields.
