Position: Asia Electrical Design Engineer
Report to: Asia Electrical Design Manager (Foreigner)
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Designer to join our team. In this role, you will provide design solutions for the sales team, create detailed production designs using 2D software, and ensure electrical systems meet control requirements. You’ll also produce engineering calculation reports, develop schematic drawings, and collaborate with production to resolve design issues. Responsibilities:

1.•  Provide design solutions for the sales team
2.•  Review project submittals and provide detailed designs for production using 2D design software
3.•  Review control requirements and assure electrical systems can support it.
4.•  Produce engineering design calculation reports
5.•  Create schematic and footprint submittal & production design drawings and list materials (BOM) by using ACADE
6.•  Keep up to date the company product design according to codes and regulations that are applicable to the the company product
7.•Technical support for the service and the sales team
8.•  Work with production team to solve any design issues
9.•  Support the department in keeping the ETL certification documentation up to date
10.•  Other tasks as required by the electrical engineering manager

Essential requirements:

11.DEC of Electrical Engineering or equivalent, Bachelor degree will be welcome
12.3+ years of experience
13.Previous experience in electrical design, manufacturing, controls or other related fields.
14.Familiarity with machine designs and diagrams
15.Knowledge of refrigeration systems, building systems, and HVAC equipment is not required but an asset Experience machine design and control is an asset
16.Must be able to work with deadlines with minimum supervision
17.Able to work in a team or independently
18.Good command of English (spoken and written); able to clearly present and discuss technical subjects.
19.Excellent organizational skills
20.Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
21.Knowledge of Autodesk Vault Product Management system is an asset
