Application Engineer

The hiring company is a global and specialized manufacturer from a western developed country offering connecting products, their connecting solutions are applied into extensive industries such as including automotive, aero, marine, life science…general industries etc

They have been in operation in China for more than 30 years with the head office in Shanghai . Currently they are looking for a high caliber to join in the technical team, the details are as following
Job Title: Application Center Engineer,China
Report to: Application Center Manager,China
Location: Beichen District,Tianjin

Responsibilities:
1. You will be responsible for managing and driving engineering activities to customize existing products and integrate them into systems of major Chinese Auto OEMs in North China. This is an end-to-end responsibility from customer pain point identification to production in close collaboration with our global KAM teams.
2. Support sales as technical expert in interactions with customers (virtually and on site) and identify customer needs and pain points
3. Develop innovative polymer fluid system concepts, including 3D models, detailed drawings, mockups, pretotypes etc.
4. Provide system design support to advanced engineers of customers by doing CAD integration of our solutions into their systems
5. Coordinate samples/prototypes and manage all internal and external testing and validation activities for new polymer solutions
6. Plan and execute further research and development activities in close cooperation with the Application Center,China.
Qualification:
1. Degree in engineering
2. 5+ years working experience as a project management
3. Professional experience in the development and design
4. Excellent knowledge of CAD (preferably SolidWorks)
5. Preferrable Experience in quality systems such as APQP and IATF 16949( a plus, not a must)
6. Strong project management and problem-solving skills
7. Ability to develop strong client relationships and to explain complex technical issues/solutions in a simple and compelling way
8. Self-motivated and a self-starter with hands-on skills and a team-oriented attitude
9. Willingness to travel（25-30%）
