Job Description:
The BD Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the cosmetics packaging industry. With a focus on building long-term relationships and expanding our client base, this individual will be responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle, from initial outreach to contract negotiation.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Client Development: Actively seek out and engage with potential clients within the cosmetics industry, presenting our packaging solutions and demonstrating how they can meet their unique needs.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competition, and new business opportunities.
- Business Proposals: Develop compelling business proposals and presentations tailored to each client’s requirements.
- Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached. Draft and finalize contracts as necessary.
- Relationship Management: Maintain excellent communication with clients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Sales Target Achievement: Set and achieve sales targets, consistently tracking progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the product development, design, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of client requirements into our packaging solutions.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry developments, competitors, and emerging trends to inform sales strategies and product innovation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the cosmetics packaging, sales, or business development industry.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and closing new business opportunities.
- Strong networking skills and the ability to build long-term relationships with clients.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
- A deep understanding of the cosmetics industry, including trends, key players, and market dynamics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in Mandarin or other relevant regional languages being a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
