Job Title: Senior Electronics Engineer
Reporting to: Electronics Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Assists with electrical design, development, testing and documentation for laboratory and portable instrumentation.
- Interfaces with other design engineers responsible for usability, industrial design and compliance.
- Reports status of projects to PMs and R&D team members.
- Leads the electrical engineering tasks in the specific projects at DG and manages the communication with corresponding German colleagues on electrical related topics.
- Qualify suppliers of PCBA, cable harness and electrical components.
- Assists with the development of electrical requirements.
- Assists with the development of product test requirements.
- Other duties as assigned ie. Standards, regulations and requirements.
Job Qualifications:
- Above Associated Degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, mechatronics or similar. Vacuum Cleaner/Air Purifier/BBQ business, or similar appliances business.
- Knowledgeable of electrical design and development.
- Knowledgeable of commonly applied component development and manufacturing concepts.
- Familiar with electrical circuit design and layout.
- Experience of DFX and project management is a plus.
- Knowledgeable of BMS, fan control, Wifi/Bluetooth connection, humidifier/dehumidifier, air purification, etc
- Knowledgeable of safety requirement and standards of household appliance such as IEC, UL…
- Strong communication skills for both verbal and written in English.
